Very chalky, earthy, malted wheat. Slightly buttery, some light vanilla, and some barrel, with alot of sweet, malted wheat. Wet paper and chalk.... Weird.

Draft @ YYZ. Hazy, yellow, thin head. Vinous nose with lots of ester and some wheaty phenols. Balanced, light blond maltiness, vague woody notes, esters and a touch of wheat. Not bad.

Draft: Poured a hazy light yellow color ale with a medium foamy had with OK retention and minimal lacing. Aroma of light dry wheat malt with some notes of Chardonnay. Taste is also a mix of dry wheat malt with light dry Chardonnay notes. Body is full with medium carbonation. Not bad thought it is lacking some complexity.

Part of their 2013 summer seasonal pack at the LCBO. Pours a cloudy yellow colour with a frothy white head, decent retention and a little lace. Aromas of spices, fruits, mild wheat and yeast. Medium-bodied and kind of boring. The taste is pretty light with the same found in the nose. Very light citrus and wheat flavours. Disappointing for a beer that says "oak aged" to not have those vanilla notes that one should have.

As Valley Bench: A hazed blonde ale with a thick white head. In aroma, a nice lemony and fruity malt with mineral notes and light lemon grass. In mouth, a nice fruity malt with light grape skins, creamy notes, not bad. On tap at National Capital Craft Beer Festival, August 17, 2012.
