Slight aroma of apples mixes with lots of grains and thick malts. The flavor is bang on for the style! Lots of great bready stick malt and some flight alcohol notes. Finish is a little more of the apple with more bready malt. S great lager, I wish I could buy it in sixers!

Pretty rough. Maybe it’s just that I don’t like the style. Pours cloudy orange without much head or lacing. Finishes too sweet, too much sugar with candied malt. No real body, average carbonation. Tap at Mill St. Ottawa.

Draught at C’est What, Toronto
Light amber color, creamy head. Both the aroma and flavor provide a delicate and correct malt feeling; there is some fruity touch more typical of Ales than of Lagers; correct bitterness.
Pleasant Bock.

Enjoyed at the Ottawa Brewpub with Lilihel on our first night there, with the ribs special and some nachos. Pours a golden colour with and amber hue and a small white head with minimal lace. The nose is malty with alcohol, hints of bananas and other fruits coming out in the finish. Warming mouthfeel with a little dryness from the hop, in the finish. Taste of sweet malts, well-balanced by the hop to cut into it, with fruit notes (oranges, bananas). Pretty decent Helles Bock that warms up, but does not overpower in any way.

Amber beer with a white head. Strong cream corn and caramel aroma. Sweet malt with light lingering bitterness and nuts. Very sweet in finish. Oily mouthfeel. Thanks to Capflu.

Mill Street Bock Bottle: Poured a clear dark yellow beer with nice foamy head with average retention. Aroma consists mainly of strong malt with some floral notes also noticeable. Taste is quite creamy (with some banana) with some nice strong malt and some bitterness at the end. Overall, this is very enjoyable but not the greatest example of the style.

Golden-amber colour. Nice whiskeyish aroma with pale & breadcrusty malts. Firm, toasty, whiskeyish, with a caramelly palate. Medium body, perhaps a touch watery in the finish. Fresh, complex.
