Cask @ GBBF 2017. Pours a black color with a small tan head. Has a roasted malty chocolate aroma. Roasted malty chocolate flavor. Has a roasted malty chocolate finish.

Cask at GBBF’17, day three, 10/08/17. Black with a decent tan head. Nose is chocolate, light roast, charr, spice, toffee. Taste comprises fruit cake, chocolate, black peppery spice, charr, toffee. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close. Decent enough stout.

Cask at GBBF 2017, day 3 - London. Pours brown with a small, creamy tan head. The nose holds dry roasty mats, burnt toast, some raisin. Light sweet flavour with sturdy ashy roast, baking cocoa, charred meat, scorched earth. Light bodied with fine carbonation; good condition. Finishes with more ash, dried out berries, cocoa. Good one.

Cask at the GBBF 2017. Day 3. 10/08/2017. An opaque black coloured pour with a a halo. Of. Tan head. Aroma is oyster, dry roast, ashy,. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, nutty, coconut, roast, ashy, jammy tangy fruit. Palate is semi sweaty, moderate, earthy roast. Ok.

Cask handpull at GBBF 2017. Dark beer no head. Dark chocolate. A little flat in carbonation. Oily juicy. Not much hop some tar. Ok.

Cask (gravity) @ NBF 2016 [ The 41th. Nottingham Beer Festival (The 9th Robin Hood Beer and Cider Festival) ], Nottingham Castle, Friar Lane, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, England NG1 6EB. [ As Big Hand Domino ].Clear dark brown colour with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to light beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, dark malt, chocolate, swet malt. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, sweet malt, dark malt, roasted. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20161014] 7-3-7-3-14

Cask, half-pint outside the Bridge End Inn, Ruabon on 23rd April 2017. Ruby hue to the almost black body, smooth lightly tanned head. Burnt malts rule the nose and taste with a smooth chocolate and coffee flavours too the fore. Good.

Chelmsford Winter Beer Festival at KEGS. Cask. Almost opaque dark brown beer, good pale tan head. Palate is light, semi dry and has modest fine carbonation. Paint and apple over semi sweet dark malts. Light dry finish. Pretty bad.

Cask @ The Armoury, Shrewsbury. Pours very dark brown with minimal tan head. Aroma is roast and coffee. Taste continues with prominent coffee and minimal bitter dark chocolate. Good.
