Half pint from the cask at Orange Tree, Chelmsford. Pours amber/copper colour with a white head. Aromas & tastes of dried fruits, caramel, liquorice & malt. Medium body. Moderate bitter finish. Enjoyable

Cask: Poured a dark amber with a beige color head. Aroma is malty, caramel. Taste is bitter forward, caramel, malty, grain fresh finish.

25/5/2019. Cask at the 14th Annual Beer Festival at the Trimley Sport & Social Club. Pours mid brown with a small off-white head. Aroma of roasted malt, toffee, chocolate, hops, dark fruit, nut and rye. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Light spicy finish. Not bad.

Chelmsford Beer Festival. Cask. Almost clear dark amber beer, good cream colour head. Smooth palate, modest carbonation. Soft and semi dry malts. Light cream and caramel. Mild diacetyl. Light floralness. Ripe fruits. Tangy finish. Okay. Just.
