330ml bottle. Clear, orangey, dark golden to amber colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Sweet-ish, minimally sugary, malty and fruity hoppy aroma, notes of dried fruit, hints of raisin, orange peel, a touch of marmalade and liquorice. Taste is initially sweet-ish malty, minimally sugary with a glucose touch and hints of jelly bears, later more and more bitter, fruity, minimally citrusy hoppy, notes of pineapple, marmalade; warming and slightly pungent finish with hints of alcohol and bitter hops. Clean, compact, condensed.

330ml bottle @ Shrewsbury Beer Share, April 16, courtesy of myself. After quite a long time I finally decide to open this. Pours pale gold, thin white head. Aroma is fruit sherbet. Taste is exceedingly strong, definitely tastes every bit of its 14% strength. Fruit, sharp alcohol and peach with a big warming finish. Not really sure what this is but it’s mental.

Cheers Mat: 33cl bottle at the April 2016 Shrewsbury Bottle Exchange meeting. Hazy golden pour, thin white top. Fruity hop nose with an alcohol front and burn: not enough depth of flavour to hide the alcohol. Sipped but not really enjoyed too greatly.

Bottle from the brewery, Bermondsey, London, consumed at Lynn and Barrys February 2015 Pours hazy yellow gold with a sticky white head on top. Very boozy, yeasty, haven’t checked out the style but it’s a beast and tastes like a big gold Barley Wine but with a nod to a big Belgian type beer. This is a big beast of a beer, hoppy, spicy some sweet honey and syrupynes, I like it but glad to have shared this. A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov15 3.8

Scopey 10K Celebrations in deepest Croydonia. Very hazy gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Airy malts, very light and with mild creamy sweetness. Light floralness. Mild brandy, well buried. Little spice. Mellow bitterness before a light finish. Pretty approachable for the very big abv but still feels like it wants something else.
