Bottle from Westhill Service Station. It pours light hazy golden - orange with a medium frothy white head. The aroma is juicy, tangy, zingy orange citrus, tangerine, melon, touch of pine and iced gems. The taste is crisp, firm dryness, lingering bitterness, touch green, pine needles, green, pithy, zesty, bright, waxy peel, tangerine, kumquat, splash of campari, peppery spice and a slice of farmhouse bread with marmalade with a lasting bitter - dry finish. Medium body and moderate, fluffy carbonation. Really grew on me. Moreish.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up from Figs & Grain. Pours lightly hazed gold with a creamy, pure white topping. Gorgeous beer, lovely pale malt base, mild bready notes, juicy and semi-ripe citrus fruit, relaxed rindy-piney bitterness. Light bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Kernel continues to set the standard.
