Hazy amber beer with a bubbly white head. Hoppy aroma with some citrus. Flavour has bitter lemon and some tangy line, with loads of grassy hop, a little resinous with some floral notes too, and a lasting dry finish.

18th February 2023 Can. Hazy orange beer, small cream colour head. A light and semi dry palate that starts out smooth but soon develops a fine minerally carbonation. Chevalier malts announce their richness almost immediately, that slightly sweet and savory wet straw vibe. Thin creamy sweetness. Light but great lime from the Archer hops, almost a key lime. Looking for the apple that is described on the label, yeah maybe a little floral apple under a modest piney note. Power of suggestion? A spicy floralness on the back end. Finishes light and dry. Solid British brew, went down very easy.

Can from Appellation Wines. Appearance - hazy amber with a creamy off white head. Nose - cake, dried orange, apple, lime and light pine. Taste - dried orange, fresh green apples, fresh like, all against a backdrop of cakiness. Palate - close to medium bodied, quite a rich texture, balanced bitterness with a persistent linger. Overall - great example of old style IPA.

Can from Cork & Cask (2021) and The Beerhive (2024). Hazy amber body with an off-white head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of stewed tea, marzipan, straw and marmalade. Flavour of orange rind, green chillies and lime chutney. Medium body with an oily texture. Soft fizz. An excellent British IPA.
