From cask at the wonderful Dog & Bell, Deptford, London, 20.11.22. Clear copper – or chestnut. Persistent beige head and lacing. Sweet aroma and taste of sweet pale malt, crystal malt, marple syrup and bark. Medium pine bitterness and sweetness is lingering on. Very quaffable.

(Cask at Harp, Charing Cross, London, 25 Nov 2019) Reddish amber colour with foamy, off-white head. Malty nose with notes of caramel and red fruit. Malty, fruity taste with caramel, toffee, red fruit and a balanced earthy bitterness. Medium body, with smooth mouthfeel. A slight sweetness. Tasty and well balanced. Quite nice.

Cask gravity at Made Inn Ashford. Clear russet colour thin beige head. Quite a fruity herby flavour. Slight sour aroma but it improves. Fairly decent winter malty bitter in the end. It's OK in the end.

Cask (gravity) @ 33th Pigs Ear Beer and Cider Festival 2016, at The Round Chapel in Hackney, London, England. [ As Bexley Old Mill ].Clear medium brown amber colour with a small to average, open and frothy - fizzy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, dark malt, hay, caramel, light UK yeast. Flavor is moderate sweet and light moderate bitter with a average to long duration, sweet malt, hay, dark malt, light UK yeast - wood. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20161130] 6-3-6-3-11

Cask at Pigs Ear 2016 - London. Pours clear copper with a creamy topping. The nose holds aged, dried and leathery berries, toasty malts. Light sweet flavour with more toasted grains, light earthy hops, besides. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Finaihes wuth more toasted grains, a little earthy bitterness, dry toffee, leathery berries. I like it.

Cask gravity at the pigs ear beer fest 2016. A copper reddy amber coloured pour with a a small off white head. Aroma is earthy nutty twig malts, damp straw, silage, . Little buttery on the nose. Flavour is composed of nutty malts, grassy English hop fermented grass, Palate is semi sweet decent cask condition.

Cask gravity at PE 2016. It pours clear rich brown with a small beige head. The aroma is soft, sweet, toffee, resin, leather, toasted brown bread and fruit cake. The taste is smooth, toasty, wood, leather, toffee, dried fruits, drying action and plum skin with a dry wood finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Decent enough.

Navigation Tavern Autumn Beer Festival 2016. Clear copper-gold with a creamy head. Has a very palatable light maltiness.
