(Cask at White Horse, Parson's Green, London, 18 Nov 2023) Copper colour with creamy, beige head. Malty nose with caramel, dried fruit and apricots. Malty taste with notes of caramel, biscuits, apricots, dried fruit and a balanced earthy bitterness. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Tasty and well balanced. Nice one.

Cask gravity at the London drinker fest 2016. Hazed light caramel copper coloured pour with a loose thin off white head. Aroma is nice caramel, vanilla ameretto biscuit, hay. Flavour is composed of semi sweet caramel, dirty grains, vanilla, rough round the edges. Bit boozy. Palate is medium sweet, grainy, mellow carbonation. Little alcohol. Not bad.

Cask Gravity at Pig’s Ear 2015. It pours clear deep brown with a small beige head. The nose is toasty, bitter-sweet, brown bread, earthy roast, charred action and some fruit cake. The taste is bitter, toasty, spicy, earthy roast, light ash, charred wood, dried fruits and leather with a dry, woody finish. Light - medium body and soft carbonation. Pretty all right actually.
