Bottle from the cider shop in Cheddar. It pours hazy bright orange. The nose is earthy, musty, tangy apple, apple skin, wood, vanilla custard, farmyard and hay. The taste is dry, funky, farmyard, touch of manure, oak, leather, farmyard, vanilla, sour orange, apple pie, tannins and light astringency with firm, dry finish. Medium body and flat. Pretty dry, but that’s what I like. Decent oak aged scrumpy.
