Cask at CBC Clerkenwell - London. Pours amber-gold with a frothy white head. Good sweetness here, rich smoked malts, some earth and minerals. Bits of fruit and berries. Medium bodied with fine carbonation; good condition. Moderately smokey on the finish with caramel sugars and lightly dried berries. Good smoked beer.

Craft Clerkenwell. Cask. Almost clear amber beer with a small pale cream coloured head. Smooth palate, softish with a little fine carbonation. Smooth malt with mild cream. Pleasant fruits underneath, mellow, tangy and sweetish. Light flowers and honey. Running through it all is a nice smoked kipper type of smoke. Finishes smooth with more fruits. Well joined up and tasty.

Cask at Holyrood 9A. Pours clear amber with a thick white head. Aromas of smoked pork products, some caramel in the background. Taste turns to bacon frazzles though. Medium bodied, creamy texture, finishes a bit short. Nice smoked beer though, not too over-powering.
