Keg at CBC CG - London. Pours deep brownish black with a lasting, creamy tan head. Nicely rounded nose, with up-front burnt toast, some cocoa, toffee, dried berries, earth. Medium to heavy sweet flavour, with some definite alcohol sting, prominent sugary jammy berries, toasted caramel. Full bodied with average carboantion, and chewy texture. Hot finish, with more chewy, jammy berries, licks of vanilla, toffee. A bit aggressive. Just good.

The taste is smooth, quite sweet, oily, tangy, rather fruity, chocolate cake, earthy, wood, dried fruits, durian, spice, warming alcohol, tar, treacle, plum and date with a drying and okay finish. Full body, fine carbonation. Oily mouth - feel. Rich and fruity. Fun, but perhaps a bit heavy-duty.
