Can. Wine Rack, Sharrow, Sheffield. Very dark, conker brown. Thin and slick, creamy, lasting, tan head. Nose has chilli chocolate. Dark chocolate. Sliced pepper. Chocolate and vanilla ice cream. A little woody. A little sugary. Taste is mostly sweet, with a dark chocolate, roast malt bitterness. Smooth and slick mouthfeel. Hint of heat. Soft carbonation. Peppery, sugary, roast malt finish.

Can. Pours opaque black, medium creamy brown head, dissipates slowly, nice lacing. Aroma is mocha, cocoa, chocolate, vanilla, molasses, leather. Fully sweet, medium bitter. Full body.

$8.49 pint can, Wine Warehouse. Pours black, thick, with a dark brown head. Aroma is sweet vanilla, chocolate, cocoa, roasted malt, light smoke. Flavor is thick sweet chocolate, lightly smoked malt (is that the chilis?), vanilla, coffee. I don't specifically get the chili flavor, but there's a hint of heat in my throat. Nicely done.

(Backlog) Sampled from can at Gekke Geit bottleshare. Black with tan head. Big sweet deep roasted chocolate malts. Moccha, coffee, creamy chocolate. Big sweet and bitter. Full body, creamy feel and soft carbonation. Nice.

Bottle shared by Marcus. Pours very dark brn/blkwith a dark tan smear. Complex aroma of chocolate, chili, coffee and dark malt. About full in body. There’s a lot of dark malt, but there’s a lot of coffee, a fair amount of chocolate, and fairly noticeable chilies. It’s surprisingly dry. Bitter is sort of earth mixed things. But I’ll call dry and bitter as reasonably close to the situation.

16 oz can. Aroma is coffee, chocolate, cigar ash. Pours black with a half finger dark tan head with good retention. Taste is bittersweet and weirdly tart, roasty; faint hint of chili pepper spiciness on the back end. Perfect mouthfeel. It's a good beer, I just can't tell if that tartness is supposed to be there or if it's a flaw.

From a 473ml can on 8/5/2018. Had the Evil Twin Bozo Beer at 17.2% last night, so I'm easing off a touch with a 13 per center! Pours dark brown and close to black with a huge dark tan head. The nose is primarily chocolate and caramel. Oh what a glorious thing this is to taste - oodles of chocolate, caramel fudge, cocoa, vanilla and lactose, with some light coffee, roasty and spicy bitterness at the back. Silky, rich and long, the balance here is just sublime. There's perhaps just the barest hint of chili in there, but certainly not as prominent that in the Bozo. But this is appreciably better than Bozo, which itself is very good. Has a gorgeous slick syrupy mouthfeel and soft carbonation. Fucking incredible beer. So easy to drink for the size. I will definitely return to it, notwithstanding the prohibitive price. Yet another exceptional brew from ET (and Prairie).

Can. Color: Black, very thin light brown head. Aroma: Sweet roasted malt, vanilla, Taste: Full body, soft carbonation. Pretty intense over medium sweet roasted malt, notes of vanilla, molasses, mocha, cocoa and dark coffee. Subtle hints of chilies, mostly towards and at the long lasting finish. The alcohol is well hidden, only slightly boozy. Warming, sticky mouthfeel at finish. Well balanced. Wow, very nice.
