Bottle shared at the 2015 edition of the chriso Pre-GBBF tasting - London. Cheers! Pours hazy yellow with a creamy, white head. Strong Belgian yeast in the nose, with touches of ripening citrus fruits and dank, damp hay. Medium sweet flavour, a little sugary, with doughy bread, yeast and honey. Medium bodied with average, massaging carbonation. Sweet on the finish with more doughy wheat bread, yeast, light candi sugar, ripe lemon. An interesting saison. Not bad overall.

Bottle at ChrisO’s Pre-GBBF tasting 2015. It pours clear gold with a small white head. The nose is soft, doughy, creamy, grassy, straw, toasty grain and cereal. The taste is crisp, doughy, golden delicious apple, pear, melon, cereal and light spice with a dry, peppery finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Better than the some of its parts. Come together quite well. Not bad at all.
