Bottled. A black beer with a dark brown head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate, and spices. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt, chocolate, smoke, and spices, leading to a bitter finsih.

Sample from 33 cl bottle. Pitch black with a thin tanned head. Sweet aroma with caramel malts, liqourice, dark malts and coffee. Taste is bitter. Medium to full body with a creamy texture and a soft carbonation. Finishes dry and bitter with dark malts and coffee. Nice.

Bottle@Lars place - Black pour with beige head. Roasted and sweet malty with notes of chocolate and caramel with some burnt brown sugar, medium body, roasted and sweet malty into the close.

Flaske 330ml fra Vinmonopolet Tromsø - Langnes. Delt med EgilB på Øverhøgda 5 Des 17. Svart. Lavt mokkafarget luftig skum. Lett sjokoladearoma. Silkemyk munnfølelse. Smaken tørr kakao. Behagelig øl. Ekstremt innholdsrik etikett. Kunstverk.

Gulating Pub Stavanger 220717. Black color with a tan head. Aroma is roasted malt, coffee, chocolate. Flavor is roasted malt, chocolate, toast, coffee, licorice, alcohol . Nice beer.

Bottle at home form Oslo, 17th November 17. Pours black, aroma is liquorice, ash, chocolate. Taste is liquorice, ash, dark chocolate, palate good and rich for the low ABV. Good Slovenian impy.

Tap @ Gulating pub, Stavanger. Black body with a small beige head. Strong aroma of roasted, dark malt, chocolate, toast and a hint of coffee. Flavor is medium sweet, dark roasted malt, chocolate, coffee and pretty bitter. Nice balanced body with a long lasting, strong aftertaste of malt ending with a bitter finish. A bit rough but nice anyway.

Oof, thought I’d lost my rating for good, tried it but never rated it and now shared a bottle with heavy. Very dark brown, almost black, light tan head. Dried cherries, dried figs, roastiness and heavy maltiness overall, sweetish. Classic, complex, as it should be. Taste... lighter than some, heavy maltiness obviously, slightly oily, chocolate, light, very light cherry notes, figs, some touches of alcohol, some drying bitterness near the finish. All in all tastes like a lovely little chocolate liqueur with fruity touches. And that makes for an excellent RIS. Jaša & Matthew, you rock!
