Hazy gold beer, tidy pale cream colour head. Palate is smooth, with decent fine carbonation. Thinnish malts but reasonably sweet. Hops start mildly skunky. Fair bit of hop spice in to which blends nice orangey citrus. Light finish. Not the most complex Kernel Pale Ale but it’s nicely done and very drinkable.

Bottle at home picked up from the brewery. Nice Translucent golden orange coloured pour with lasting loose white head. Aroma is nice white bready grains, semi sweet, tangerine, spicy citrus notes, apricot. Mellow and subdued Flavour is composed of clean semi sweet base grains, slight raw, wheat. Hops are grassy citrus, tangerine, apricot, spicy citrus. Assertive citrus hop bitterness, but very well balanced and crushable. Palate is grainy, moderate carbonation, semi dry finish

Bottle at home in London - picked up at the brewery. Pours hazy gold with a frothy, white head. Wonderful aroma, lots of juicy tropical fruits, tons of melon and mango, papaya and peach. Medium sweet flavor with moderate bready pale malts, some honey, more mango and papaya, slight gooey pine. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Great finish, lightly resinous, with toms of plum and juicy tropical fruits, hints of citrus, more melon, papaya, peach, pineapple, orange. There are just very few breweries who get this kind of action out of their hops. Excellent.

Bottle. Mother Kelly’s Bottle Shop. Very hazy orange. Film and a few bubbles of white head. Nose has sweet, fleshy citrus fruits. Some pineapple. Soft, aromatic herb. Taste is fruity sweet. Light bitter. Smooth palate. Soft carbonation. Gets pithy, oily bitter as it goes on. Balances the initial sweetness out nicely. Very drinkable.

Bottle from Bottle Baron. Hazy bronze body with a thin white head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of lime, grapefruit and toffee. Flavour of passionfruit, lime sweets and creamy malt. Medium body with a smooth texture. Light fizz. Soft and fruity. Nice.

Bottle from the brewery and drunk at home. Hazy orange amber colour lasting white head. Aroma is big fruity and lovely. Grapefruitand something herby. A little earthy. Yes gets earthiness. Not overly bitter. Better aroma than flavour ok though.
