Cask pint in Victoria Station Wetherspoons on 9th Feb 2016. Light amber body, weak white head. Decent blend of flavours with the citrus notes from the hops just about dominating the slightly sweet, light malts in both the aroma and taste.

Cask at the Crosse Keys (JDW), City of London. Straw in colour with a loose white head; grassy aroma; oily body with some resinous hops and citrus; and a clean crisp finish. Rather unexciting.

Cask at CBC - Clerkenwell, London. Pouts clear, light yellow with a fine, white foam head. Dirty hay aroma, pale malts. Light sweet flavour with lightly toasted pale malts, dry citrus, hints of toasty grass. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Light bitter finish, mild dirt and hay, hints of dry lemon. Very pleasant golden ale.

Half pint by hand pump at Duck & Drake. Clear golden-brown body, diminishing beige head. Smell of caramel malts and dried fruits. Fruity caramel to the taste buds, notes of red orange. Twist of dark bitter ending. Pleasant (Leeds, 12.07.2012).

Cask at Post Office Vaults, Birmingham
Hazy light amber color. The aroma is light. Some simple flavor of caramel, lightly papery and dusty. Correct bitterness. Missing any freshness or depth.
Simple.

(Cask at White Horse, Parson’s Green, London, 20 April 2012) Amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty, fruity nose with orange, apricots and citric hops. Malty, fruity taste with notes of apricots, orange, dried fruit and a slightly earthy, citric bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a certain malt sweetness. Nice one.
