Cette Belgian style de la Débauche est en quelque sorte un mix entre Belgian Ale et Saison. Si elle globalement agréable, elle reste une bière sans réelle prétention qui ne restera pas gravée dans ma mémoire avec des arômes plutôt simples. En verre nous sommes sur une blond doré sombre parsemé des grosses bulles donnant naissance à une mousse blanche aérée de 5 mm. Le nez est sur les céréales, floral, et une touche d’épice. On y ressent d’emblée une petite acidité qui se confirme à l’attaque qui se positionne sur des arômes de céréales, pêche, biscuit teintés quelques épices ; La deuxième gagne légèrement d’ampleur et de stabilité sur des arômes linéaires, tandis que l’arrière bouche, d’une présence en bouche acceptable reprend l’attaque avec une présence épicée légèrement plus marquée. Le final, d’une bonne longueur est pour sa part légèrement herbacée. L’alcool à 6,5 % est très acceptable et l’amertume bien dosée. Plaisante mais pas transcendante.

Bottled. A hazy golden beer with a yellowish head. The aroma has notes of hops, straw, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, straw, and fruits, leading to a bitter finsih.

Bottle@Jespers - Hazy yellow with a white head. Malty and fruity with some citrus notes of lemon, some straw, medium body, yeasty, some spice into the finish.

As 'blonde'. Sample from 33 cl bottle. Clear golden colour with a thin white head. Sweet aroma with fruits, spices and a slightly perfumed note. Taste is sweet. Drying fruity finish.

33 cl bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow. White head. Aroma is phenolic. Toasted malt. Mild fruity, slight sweet. Toasted malt. Bitter and phenolic finish.

Bottle from Terre de Boissons Calais and drunk at home. Hazy orange amber colour lasting thin head. Some esters on aroma more of an amber than a blond to be honest. A fairly light beer. Somewhere between a blond and an amber as i say some peach ester . Decent i thought. Quite drinkable.
