Draught sample at CBWF 2017. Near black with a thin tanned head. Sweet aroma with dark malts and cherries. Wooden notes. Taste is sweet. Full body with an oliy texture and a soft carbonation. Finishes dry and roasted bitter with oak and cherries.

Superficial festival rating at DØE - Ølfestival København 2017. Black body with a small, dense beige head. Nice strong aroma of dark, roasted malt, coffee and chocolate like the ordinary version, but some more vinous in addition. Same goes for the flavor, delicious sweet, dark roasted malt with coffee, chocolate, good bitterness warming alcohol and smooth vinous finish. Fine body and long lasting aftertaste. Very nice indeed, the sherry barrel does good thing with this one.

Fra fad, første dag på DØE Ølfestival i Lokomotivværkstedet maj-17: sherryfad brugt til lagring skal være fra Pedro Jimenez. Brunsort med godt skum. Ganen forkæles af fløjelsbløde toner med svesker, figen, rosiner, vanilje og krydderier.

Sampled @ Mikkeller Beer Celebration 2017, Green Session. Fast schwarze Farbe mittelgroße bräunliche Schaumkrone. Geruch nach Kaffee, Vanille, bourbon. Geschmack ist süß röstmalzig Kaffee, bourbon, alkoholisch, top.
