(Draught at BrewDog Camden, London, 22 Apr 2015) Cloudy amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty, slightly fruity nose with notes of rye bread, citrus and orange peel. Malty, hoppy taste with rye bread , citrus, crisp-bread and a balanced citric bitterness. Slightly metallic and hollow malt character. Medium body, quite dry. Tasty and interesting, but a bit unbalanced. Still, quite nice.

Cask at The White Hart. It pours lightly hazy amber with a small, bubbly off-white head. The nose is earthy, bitter, spicy, brown bread, guvava, papaya and orange. The taste is bitter, piney, resinous, rye bread, bitter orange, grapefruit and a touch of pepper with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. I rather like the balance. Tasty.

Keg at the brewpub. Hazed deep orange / golden coloured pour with a steadfast creamy white head. Aroma is perfumed citrus with floral and tropical fruit notes. Bit of soapyness on the nose as well is a bit off putting. Flavour is composed of base grains with a hint of spicy rye, hops are chewy citrus lemon, background mango, and assertive mellow citrus hop bitterness. Palate is fairly airy with spritzy carbonation and medium finish. Light hop resin on the tongue. Alcohol is a little present but a very enjoyable IPA, with interesting grain character.

White Hart. Keg. Hazy amber beer, tidy pale cream colour head. Palate is airy with a nice minerally crispness. Smooth malts, mild cream. Little spice in the mid. Good citric hops - orange peel with lesser yellow grapefruit. Juicy orange with a tangerine streak. Finishes smooth with some bitterness kicking in. Bitter linger. Nicely done, very quaffable.

Cask at the brewpub. Pours clear, deep gold with a mild off-white head. The aroma holds a lot of ripening fruits, some berries, mango and orange. Medium sweet flavor with minimal bitterness, some bready malts, more orange, some papaya, mango, faint piney hops. Medium bodied with fine carbonation; OK condition. Sweet on the finish with some sticky pectin, more ripe orange, mango and papaya, light pine, bready malts. Kind of one-dimensional but tasty and very drinkable.
