The Blonde de Monaco is a high fermentation Pils respecting the law of beer mashing (Reinheitsgebot): only organic malts, hops and yeasts are combined thanks to the know-how of our Master Brewer. This traditional beer reveals the fine and peppery bitterness of German and Alsatian hops thanks to a slow fermentation process and maturation in vats for more than 3 weeks.

330ml bottle from Vinmonopolet, Oslo City. My 100th country. Pours clear gold, frothy white head. Aroma of pale malts. Taste is clean pale malts, grains, a little corn, mild bitterness. Tastes like a French pilsner. Nice enough.

Many thanks to CH-303 for this bottle! Grainy nose, the beer starts fresh and slightly grainy. Easy to drink, fresh, refreshing with grainy hints. Nice and fresh hop bitterness with sweetish hints. Nice refreshing brew.

Lett. Lite sødme, men noe honningtoner ligger der, middels kort bitterhet.

330 ml red bottle, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 5%. My first beer ever from a red bottle, and also my first beer from Monaco, even though the bottled version is brewed in France by EMB 67202 (= Brasserie Météor) for Brasserie de Monaco. The bottled version is apparently filtered. Clear pale golden colour, moderate white head. Fairly strong aroma of grassy hops. Soft mouthfeel. Crisp pilsener flavour, medium dry, with fairly distinct bittering hops. A decent pilsener, no more, no less.
