T42 Bottleshare. Thanks to Colin. Hazy dark brown beer, good tan head. Palate is airy, dry and has modest carbonation. Dry dark malts, a little cream. Powdery dark chocolate. Little vanilla and ripe fruits. Smooth semi dry finish. Not bad.

Bottle shared in London - cheers! Pours clear brown with a slim, tan head. The nose has some aged berries, dry coffee, faint roast. Medium sweet flavour with some torched earth bitterness, leathery berries, cocoa. Medium to full bodied with fine carbonation. Finaihes with more leather, earth, bittersweet cocoa. Fine.

Bottle at Level 42. It pours cloudy darkest brown with a decent dirty tan head. The aroma is earthy, roasted malt, sticky, chocolate cake, earthy, fruit cake, candy and vanilla cream. The taste is smooth, rich roasted malt, earthy, charred wood, sticky, chalky, chocolate cake, alcohol boost, hot alcohol, leather and spice with a drying, hot finish. Medium - full body and average carbonation. Hot and rough.

Bottle. A close to black beer with next to none head. Rather oily. It’s roasted and chocolatey in the aroma, with some boozy hints and bonfire. Sweetish and lightly meaty. It’s full bodied and warming, oily and smooth, with flavors of roasted malts, chocolate and coffee dominating. Quite a lot of chocolate actually. Lasting finish with lots of chocolate and coffee. A delicious one indeed. 160930
