Can from Kvickly Odder @ Home. Pours pitch black with a fast fading dark brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, caramel, dark chocolate, nuts, little peanuts. Flavor is sweet, roasted malt, caramel, dark chocolate, nuts, peanuts, little dried fruit, light alcohol. Full body, oily mouthfeel, soft carbonation, sweet finish. Smooth and with alcohol well hidden. 261024

Aus der Flasche im 2024-09 getrunken. Bei diesen Stout fällt beim Einschenken ins Glas gleich die leicht erhöhte Viskosität auf. Die Aromen von Peanutbutter, dunkler Schokolade, Mokka bilden ein wunderbares Stout. Durch die leicht erhöhte Viskosität klebt das Stout förmlich an Gaumen im Abgang und dier Aromen bleiben ewig. Traumstoff zum Gebießen!

Can picked up from Drankgigant.nl, Vlissingen, Netherlands, had this sat out on the balcony Friday 16th August 2024 listening to Humanist - On the Edge of a Lost and Lonely World. We had Italian Burgers with a Tomato & Mozzarella Salad. Pours grimping mire black with a fast disappearing small brown head. Roasty notes, chocolate and some fruit, perhaps I am picking up a bit of nuttiness. Really thick and creamy textured mouthfeel, roasty again but this time in the mouth with only very slight traces of nuts, a tangy fruity edge and chocolate. It's certainly interesting and I like that it's not overly sweet, the dried fruits really add a nice lightly tart edge, however whilst I am a fan of subtle flavours I do think that the peanut butter is notable by its almost near absence here.

Can, 13%. Almost black with small beige head. Aroma is roasted malt, chocolate, caramel, dark fruit, peanut and candy. Flavour is roasted malt, chocolate, caramel, dark fruit, sweet, nut, candy, liquorice, hop, warming and medium bitter.

29th June 2024 Panda thanks to Cloin. Near opaque dark brown beer, a few tan bubbles. Smooth and viscous palate, decent fine carbonation. Silky rich dark malts. Good dark chocolate, sweet dark chocolate, some ice cream van chocolate syrup. Fair amount of nuts, getting slightly seedy in flavour. A little red berry fruitiness, fairly subtle. Smooth finish. Good but it never really spoke to me. All these adjuncts and yet is tasted relatively simple to me. The nuts and chocolate feels like they had a lovers tiff and are not speaking to each other.

Can at home. Pours black, nose is chocolate, nutty, liquorice, raisin, taste is similar, rich, sweet, chewy.

One of their better pastry’s, largely because it’s not overly pastried. Peanut butter is very mild. Great base. Guild box

Can at home, from HOTM online, 02/06/24. Pitch black with a good sized lasting khaki head. Nose is chocolate, dark malts, peanut butter, spice, molasses, booze fumes, hint of liquorice. Taste comprises treacle toffee, dark malts, molasses, brown sugar melt, toffee fudge, spice, peanut butter shards. Full bodied, oily feel, semi drying close with a balanced rising boost. Tidy well balanced impy ... big and ballsy but delivers well.
