Hazy golden beer, thick and fluffy white head. Aroma is zesty, with grassy hop. A little dank. Flavour is pretty dry up front with zesty lemon, grassy hop again, a little grapefruit, a little pine., Crisp, fresh, dry, well balanced, super drinkable.

Can at home in Hackney - picked up from HOTM. Pours clear yellow with a foamy, white head. Light sweet flavour, pleasantly dank, some lemon rind, grapefruit, pee, white grape, mellow bitterness. Light to medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Tidy finish. Good stuff.

Can at home, from HOTM online, 29/04/24. Lightly hazed pale golden blonde with a good sized frothy white head. Nose is dank and pissy edged akin to NZ hops, pine resin, grass, guava, stoned fruits, orange zest, gooseberries. Taste comprises bitter orange, grass, lychee, stoned fruits, pine nip, dank chimes, green berry tang. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with dankened come weedy hop bitterness. Solid kit .. very NZ like in its outlook.

Can picked up via Buxton webshop and sent to and shared with dad and Loz, Easter Monday 1st April 2024 listening to Big Special and dad is cooking a Lamb meal. Pours hazy yellow with a white head, a little lemon sherbert with some pineapple cubes, very soft carbonation, there is a little passion fruit, a nice buzziness, very nice beer and best of the first three.

23rd March 2024 Can. Hazy straw gold beer, good bubbly pale cream colour head. Piney nose with very light Fruit Pastilles. Light smooth palate, decent fine minerally carbonation. Light smooth malts, seem a little sweeter here than 1 and 2 in this series, but it's the same malt profile. Dunno! CF321 is immediately striking. Crisp pine, juicy key lime but with a mild Sorachi vibe. A bit like someone took HBC1019 and sliced it in half, taking away the Sabro side of it, but not quite managing to excise all the pineapple. So piney key lime, pineapple and a late black pepper boot up the taste buds. Finishes crisp and fresh and piney fruity. Yeah, has some balls this hop. First hop in this series that I think could live with other established heavy hitters and still cut through. So far then, in descending order, 3, 1, 2. This one a clear winner so far. Rather a lovely beer to boot!

Can. Buxton online. Hazed straw colour. Thick froth of bright white. Nose has old lemon. Pineapple flesh. Malts has a whiff of smoke. Further notes of herbal flora, akin to thyme maybe. Whatever it’s on the savoury side of hoppage. Taste has a malty oaty sweetness with moderate floral bitterness. Creamy and foamy mouthfeel. Moderate bitterness to finish. Definitely out of the ordinary. Decent gear.
