Bottle, 6.4% ABV. Dark brown with a large beige head. Gentle aroma of milky chocolate, chile. Lightish bodied and very silky. Slightly sweet with a enough bitterness a the end to keep it savoury. Chocolate, prunes, raisins, toasted nuts, nutmeg. No heat, but fruity and earthy spice that sits well in the mix. Tasty and tasteful.

Keg at One Mile End. It pours deep brown with a decent tan head. The nose is rich roasted malt, spicy, chocolate fondant, mild smoke and cocoa. The taste is bitter-sweet, roasted malt, cocoa, spice, earth, light chilli, touch of heat and light green veg notes with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Works quite well.
