Leighton’s flat clearance. Thanks to Leighton. Hazy pale yellow - gold beer, thin white head. Palate is light, very dry and has reasonable carbonation. Dry seltzer. Lemon. Bitterish floralness. Touch of orange. Dry finish. Average stuff.

Bottle shared in London - picked up at Kris Wines. Pours lightly hazy gold with a froth, white head. The nose holds dry wheat, peach, lemon, light yeast. Light-medium sweet flavour with soft funk, melon, peach, grapefruit, a little lemony tang. Light bodied with average carbonation. Pretty clean on the finish, with more peach, wheat, white grape. Nice stuff.

Bottle split at Bespin, thanks to Leighton, 19/09/16. Hazed pale yellow with a well appointed off white head. Nose is lemon rind, straw, pissy, grains, hay bale, light orange. Taste comprises light funk, hay, farmy, lemon rind, bread, straw, lemon zest. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close with a light hop flicker. Middle ’O’ the road saison but fine all the same.

Bottle thanks to LKS. It pours hazy bright pale gold with a thick, foamy white head. The aroma is straw, cracker, lemon sherbet, Granny Smith apple, hay and some sour candy. The taste is crisp, dry, lemon sherbet, Granny Smith apple, straw, light lactic note, dry wood and soda with a dry finish. Medium body and high, foamy carbonation. A bit flat and lacking in punch. Fair.

Tap @ Bakgården Både &. Hazy yellow body with a small white head. Aroma is mild, but very refreshing with tropical fruit, lemon and hint of light wood and funk. Flavor is sweet and sour with light pale malt, fruit, particular tropical, some lemon zest and some bitterness. Medium to light bodied and moderate aftertaste with light acidic fruit. Nothing really special, but quite nice as a refreshing Saison.

On tap at Både&. It’s a hazy pale orange coloured beer with a minimal sized white head. Nice but a bit weak aroma, with a funky touch. Fruity, with some lemon, plums, grapefruit and peach. It’s medium bodied, dry and with a rather low but pleasant level of carbonation. Mostly fruity flavor, with tropical fruits dominating, both initially and in the finish. A pleasant beer, but a bit weak all the way. Guess the ABV had something to do with it. 160824
