Tap. Bath Hotel, Sheffield. Hazy, amber colour. Thick, bubbly, lasting, off white head. Nose has fruity, zesty led esters. Notes of fruity spice. Juniper. Hedgerow berry. Background of biscuity malts. Smells great. Taste is fruity, spicy sweet, and fruity, spicy bitter. Massaging, smooth, nicely full mouthfeel. Finishes spicy, soft juicy, bitter. Fruity esters remain throughout. Lovely hop. Yep.

On tap at Holborn Whippet. Hazy amber . It’s a Saison yeast with extra hops I like the dry saison bit. I think the hops are a little over the top. Bit fizzy. Not too cold but too fizzy. Decent hops mind. Good

Keg at Crate - London. Pours unclear, rich gold with a creamy off-white head. A little funk in the nose, some grapefruit, peach, lemon, hay, horses. Medium sweet flavor with pale malt sugars, some oily pine, nectarine, peach, melon, tangerine, orange. Medium to full bodied with average carbonation. Nicely balanced to finish with a bit more funk, poo, farmyard, citrus, some tropical fruits, more grapefruit. Quite solid overall.

Draught half-pint on 9th Oct 2015 in Chez Sophie, Shrewsbury. Poured a hazy amber with an off-white topping. Yeasty aroma with a herbal/spice twist. Saison/farmhouse like yeast feel to the taste, again with some spicy traces within. Bittering finish and so Northern France/Belgian Saison in flavour. Certainly different for a beer from Manchester.

Keg at Shuffledog, Leeds. Pours chazy golden amber with a thin white head. Aromas are very solventy, pale fruits, not great on the nose. Taste is fruity, light sour note, some saison qualities, bready. Dry finish. Unusual.

Keg @ Craven Arms MTB event. Pours hazy amber with off white head. Sweet yeast / spice aroma. Lots of belle saison yeast in the taste with some fresh funk a nice spicy finish. Very farmhousey, with an interesting, complex taste. Beer of the night for me.

Keg at the Euston tap. Medium orange coloured pour with a lasting g frothy off white head. Aroma is nice funky saison yeast, orange segments, midget gem hops, little peach. Flavour is composed of a little funky Brett, pineapple and peach, citrus resinous hop. Malt profile is fairly easy going, bread and wheat with a little biscuit. Palate is medium bodied, sticky resinous hop, high carbonation. Good lacing round the lace. The balance in this beer is really good. Good blend of style. Little spicy citrus hop in the finish.
