500ml bottle from Raynville Superstore. It pours clear yellow - gold with, thick, fluffy white head. The aroma is fresh, bright, nice piney forest vibes, juicy, apricot, nectarine, peach, bread and biscuit. The taste is crisp, firmly dry, pleasing bitterness, touch green, weedy, piney, pithy citrus, slight soapy, stone fruits, peach, nectarine, yellow plum, touch of peppery spice and biscuity malt with a waxy citrus peel finish. Average body and moderate, fluffy carbonation. Rounded and quaffable. Not a standout kernel, but very drinkable nonetheless.

Almost clear gold beer, tidy pale cream colour head. Palate is smooth, light and semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Light malts, a light sweetness. Mosaic and Eclipse hops bring a light green hop vibe, mild pine and a light sprinkle of hop spice. Maybe a touch of Mosaic blueberry. Some generic fruity hop on the back end, kinda mellow citrus with a touch of something tropical. Finishes airy and crispy and leaves a mild hop linger. Pleasant and easy drinking but not blowing me away as Kernel so often do. 7.6

This edition has a bit more about it. A little hop spice, some light bitterness. Brighter peachy stone fruits. More obvious modern Mosaic candy fruits. A light finish. Yeah, definitely more hop pizza here. The malt base still has this (for me) distracting thinness but overall, good pale ale.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up from Figs & Grain. Pours lightly hazed yellow-gold with a tight, creamy white topping. Lightly sweet with notes of pithy citrus, lemon rind, some semi-ripe tangerine, melon, dry pale bread. Light bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Clean finish, pithy, lightly dry, some pine needles, more citrus peel, mellow zest. Bigly drinkable. Loved it.

Have a photo of my hand. Tap. Rutland Arms Sheffield. Hazed pale gold. Thick and sturdy white foam. Looks a beaut. Nose has jellied fruit. Ripe citrus. Juicy Fruit gum. Hint of spearmint. Clean malts. Smells fantastic. Taste is juicy and sweet and perfectly bitter. Clean and refreshing with brisk carbonation. Dries out somewhat towards the finish. Bitterness lingers throughout. Smashable.
