(Cask at Akkurat, Stockholm, 19 Sep 2015) Golden colour with frothy, white head. Malty nose with notes of bread, grainy malt, pears and grass. Malty taste with bread, grain, grass, toffee and a balanced grassy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a certain malt sweetness. Fresh and tasty. Quite nice.

Cask @ Akkurat. Pours pretty much clear golden with a small fluffy bubbly offwhite head that doesn’t leave much trace on the glass while dissipating. Smell is slightly malty and floral with freshly baked white bread, toasted cereal, honey, hay, minerals and lemon peal. Taste is sweet, tiny bitter, slightly malty and floral. Mouthfeel is soft, flat, round and light to medium bodied. Finish is sweet and tiny bitter with white bread, cereal, honey, hay and lemon peal. But sweet but I guess unlike it like that. Nice floral hops on a fresh malt base. Didn’t expect this to be a Pilsner though. More of a very solid golden ale.

Cask (Oliver Twist, Stockholm) - Golden in colour. Bread, yeast and grass in the aroma. Lemon, herbs, lime and bready notes feature in the taste. Easy to drink but doesn’t leave a lasting impression.

Cask @ Percy Shaw, Halifax. Clear golden with a small creamy head. Smooth tasting with a light malty-floral nose and a bitterness. Very much an ale over a pilsener.

GBBF Day 1. Cask. Clear gold beer, small off white head. Palate is smooth with modest fine carbonation. Sweetish pale malts and sweetish marmalade, tangy with a trace of lemon. Mildly sweet floralness. Light finish. Tangy citric linger. Decent but lacks crispness.
