Tap East Collab Fest. Cask. Almost opaque dark brown beer, good pale tan head. Palate is smooth with good fine carbonation. Nice condition. Smooth dark malts with nicely integrated licorice. Dark fruits underneath. Little spice. Light dry finish. Not bad at all.

Cask at Tap East during the fest. Pours deep brown with a creamy beige head. The nose holds a bit of mild coffee and milk chocolate. Medium sweet flavor with with a bit of baking cocoa, mild scorched earth. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Moderately sweet finish, nice cocoa, some bitter coffee, suggestions of Belgian yeast. I like it.

Cask at Tap East. It pours darkest ruby-brown with a small beige head. The nose is rich, bitter-sweet, dark chocolate, rocky road, mild spice, earthy roast and cake. The taste is smooth, bitter-sweet, toasty, toffee, rocky road, cocoa, coffee, mild acidity, earthy, spicd, coffee grounds and chewy malt with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Good body and well-rounded. One of the best o’ the fest.
