Bottle, 750 ml shared with Miro B and Max. Hazy orange, medium white head. Funky, citrus, smooth, easy drinkable, juicy, some lemon. Easy drinkable.

0,75 flaske, den siste av tre fra Burning Sky denne kvelden på Mi2 Cardinal okt-20: klar gylden med ok skum. Litt mindre syrlig (bedre balanse?) enn Les amis du brassage og Saison de fête, men ellers ganske lett gjenkjennelige trekk fra disse to. Gled sorgløst over ganen uten å sette dype spor i hukommelsen.

Bottle at home in Hackney - sourced from BS online. Pours mostly clear gold with a frothy, pure white head. Lightly sweet with assertive acidity, lemony tartness, modest pale woody dryness, subtle grassy bitterness. Light to medium bodied with active, massaging carbonation. Lightly warming finish, quenching acidity, more citric bite, salty twang, mellow funk, just a light woody aftertaste. It’s outstanding.

750 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 6.7%. Golden colour, large to moderate white head. Lovely aroma of spicy saison yeast, brettanomyces, farmhouse kitchen, apple cider, oak, hints of fresh fruits and lactid acid. Rustic flavour with spicy saison yeast, brettanomyces, oak, moderate lactic acid, hints of lemons. Moderate bitterness. A very good beer!

Bottle shared with the team. It pours lightly hazy rich golden with a thick foamy white head. The aroma is fresh, funky, granny smith apple, jelly beans, jelly tots, funky, sherbet, lime, kiwi and candy. The taste is crisp, dry, puckering, zingy, granny smith apple, jelly beans, jelly tots, limey, sherbet, kiwi, sherbet dib dab, light floral, oak, light tannin, lactic, tangy, hint of acidity and hay with a dry finish. Medium body and high, fluffy carbonation. Lively and lovely. Moreish and quaffable.

Bottle at home, from BS Online, 05/04/20. Very lightly hazed orange golden with a well presented white cap. Nose is hay bale, lemon rind, farmhouse tones, grains, vinous twang, light brett strains, green berry must. Taste comprises lemon sherbets, funk, light tannins, vanilla oak, mellow brett, apple core, subtle acidity. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light drying close. Solid well blended farmhouse affair.

Bottle. Burning Sky online. Medium gold, with a soft haze. Fine, dense, lasting, leggy, just off white head. Nose has clean oak. Fresh lemon brett. Minty herb. Bright malt. Taste follows suit, coming across tart, fresh, and super juicy. Lovely balance of clean, oaky bitterness and fruity, grape skin tartness. Light to medium body. Bright and crisp on the palate. Foamy carbonation. Lingering, tart bitterness to finish. Unsurprisingly, this is great. Be good to see how this develops.
