Bottle picked up at Dranken Geers, Oostaker, nr Gent, Belgium and shared with friends Saturday 18th January 2020. Lively pour, large light cappuccino head, dirty brown in colour. There is a light sourness, oaky, tangy. Loz gets smoke. Nice mouthfeel, soft carbonation, good.

Bottle at Craft Islington, thanks to New Ken. It pours near black with a small beige head. The aroma is quite soft, sweet, fruit, brown bread, tangy, umami, meaty, berry skin and must. The taste is bitter - sweet, sour, tangy, toasty grain, wood, leather, raisin, fruit bread, leather, umami, toasted nut and even an touch of cocoa. Medium body and moderate+ carbonation. Would have liked it a bit more sour to be honest. Fun anyhow.

Bottle split at CBC Islo, thanks to the New Ken, 25/06/18. Extremely dark mahogany brown with a well presented beige covering. Nose is tangy dark fruits, red wine soaked oak, stoned fruits, light herb, spice. Taste comprises red berry tang, vinous notes, hint of aniseed, damp straw, light acidic burst, dried fruits. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close. Decent enough sour red.

Bottle shared in London - cheers to Ken. Pours brown with a creamy tan head. Nice aroma, tangy berries, brown bread, prunes, Belgian yeast. Light to medium sweet flavour with more dark berries, mild cocoa and toffee, dry Belgian yeast. Medium bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Balanced finish, restrained, more dark fruits. Good stuff.
