From the snow-covered crags of the Himalayas to the panifici of Southern Italy, Yeti is a worldly creature. For this latest creation, Yeti Imperial Stout has wandered into pastry stout territory. Almonds, coconut, and lactose enhance the sweetness of this indulgent treat, while the traditional Yeti roastiness fades slightly into the background. Who knew Yeti had such a sweet tooth?

Can @ home. Dark brown body under a moderate sized brown head. Strong aroma, soft dark malt, medium strong chocolate, mild caramel, hint of vanilla and almond. Taste is sweet and smooth with dark malt, chocolate, caramel, vanilla, almond, some lactose, balanced bitterness and well hidden alcohol. Balanced body with long lasting aftertaste. This is nice, the original Yeti is still present, and the pastry stuff is nice without overdoing it. Nice dessert beer.

568mL can, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma is full of almond, a touch of coconut, lactose, and a big roasted malt base. Flavour is sweeter than regular Yeti, with light almond, lactose, and coconut upfront, with a big roasted malt support underneath. Loads of roast, with just enough sweetness. Really nice variant.

568 ML Smell-medium strong, malt, chocolate, caramel, sweetness. Foam-medium thick, malt, weak caramel, weak chocolate, sweetness. Head is medium, bit to large, dark brown color. Quite fine foam. Goes away fast. Sticks a tiny bit. Appearance- somewhat nice can with yeti dressed as chef, nice frindly colors. Very dark brown, bit basically black color. Few carbonation bubbles. From - stout glass Price ~13 euros, expensive Taste - sweet, malt, chocolate, caramel. Quite an easy drinking despite the alcohol, quite sweet, malty, and chocolaty, coconut notes also in the mix. Tasty sweet stout. Still quite expensive, but tasty. Very neutral somehow. Could sip another one.

I usually like the Yeti flavored imperial stouts, the more recent ones not delivering the impact I prefer. A lot of promise coming from Macaroon, time to have a try. Out of the stovepipe can I make a pour into my Great Heights snifter, see a totally dark liquid with a dark brown head of vigorous but short-term foam. A decent smell, coffee, chocolate and malt. And the taste is not where I had hoped, little of the expected macaroon flavor but I do get sweet dark chocolate, wheat bread and a bit of berries. Okay.

Canned April 19th 2021. 568 ml.

Pours black, I'll say pitch black, with a healthy head of tan foam.

Smells of roasted malt, chocolate, coconut, some noticeable sweetness but mostly roasty.

Roasted malt is the first thing that I taste, some nuttiness, lactose..probably accounts for the sweetness in the smell, coconut is on the fairly mild side, some of the ample alcohol content hits me. After the swallow.

After further sips, I don't notice any changes but the beer kind of grinds on my palate; this is not my favourite Yeti variant.

Second pour and it looks as grand as ever. Too bad that's the highlight of the beer for me. Sigh.
