To begin the new year we start with P.IPA, our polish IPA conceived by our very own eng-olish brewer, Mik (or mole, as he’s lovingly called...). We knew it wouldn’t be long before he got all excitable with the hop and malts order; Using three varieties of polish hops, this’ll keep you warm as the winter days linger.

Bottle shared at chriso’s Post-GBBF Shindig 2014 - London. Pours mostly clear gold with a frothy white head. The nose holds some sweaty hops, grain, light acetone. Light to medium sweet flavor with simple doughy bread, sugar, old lemon. Light bodied with average carbonation. Grainy finish with notes of white bread, light citrus and wet hay. Mediocre.

Keg @ Draft House, Westbridge. Smooth, lightly tropical hops, fairly sweet & well-blended with floral elements. Quite nice, with a tickling bitter finish.

Keg at cbr. It pours hazy golden amber with a bubbly white head. The nose is earthy, grass, candied peel, floral, pepper and nectrarine. The taste is bitter-sweet, grassy, floral, spice, candied peel, some woody astringency, peach and tangerine with a dry finish. Unique flavour profile for sure. Solid.
