A warming IPA at 7%, made with several different malts to produce a rich golden colour and complex base flavour. We have chosen a range of hops to provide a symphony of flavours and aromas. These 2 elements combined with a boozy finish.

Bottle. Mitchell’s Wines, Sheffield. Clear amber. Film of sticky, white head. There’s some hops in there, but this is a big, buttery, diacetyl bomb. The bottle is fresh. The beer is awful. Shame. Was looking forward to this.

Bright clear amber - gold beer, small white head. Light thin pale malts. Mild citric hops - little orange peel, mellow marmalade. Trace of lemon. Smooth finish. Easy supping but Blue Monkey are normally a bit punchier than this.

Cask at Cask Pub & Kitchen. It pours clear amber with a medium white head. The nose is toast, pine, orange, tangerine and sherbet. The taste is bitter, pine, toast, grapefruit, orange rind, pithy lemon and touch of icing sugar with a dry, bitter finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Flavoursome and rather drinkable. Good stuff.
