Well, well, well... 75 cl bottle at Chinaski Lavapiés, Madrid. An orangish to brown pour with almost no head whatsoever. Nil. Aroma is toasty, red berries cider, walnut, red apple... Taste is dry, tart, crisp, medium-bodied. Very long-lasting, umami-laden, bitterless. I'd like to see the way this one ages over the years, 'Tis promising.

On tap at The Alehouse - Palmhof, pours a deep dark red / burgundy with almost no head. Aroma reveals that characteristic balsamic / red wine vinegar quality, with gentle oak / wood in the background. Flavour is tart and moderately-to-highly acidic, with balsamic, red wine, and wood. The acidity is high, but kept in check so that it's not enamel-stripping. Not sure how much of this I could drink, but it's very well-done.

Amber, no head. Oh my, so acetic and barrelly, with rich dark sugars, plums, deep fruits, i mean it’s intense and awesome, not as unique now but thinking that the reason I’m drinking this today is because Bov sent Per and I bottles back in the day.

(Draught at Chez Moeder Lambic Fontainas, Brussels, 21 Oct 2018) Reddish amber colour with lasting, beige head. Fruity, sourish nose with red berries, caramel, black-currant, oak wood and a touch of vinegar. Fruity, tart taste with notes of caramel, balsamic vinegar, red fruit, black-currant and a vinous and tart finish. Full body, with a certain sweetness. Sweet and sour with a rich and complex flavour. On the extreme side. Very nice.
