Hazy gold beer, good pale cream colour head. Palate is light and mildly dry, good fine crispness. Thin malts, mildly sweet, trace of cream. Sherbet candy fruits and light tropical fruits. Light Parma Violets. Mild orange and orange peel. Floral fruits. Light crisp finish. Cracking! Now please IPA this hop!

Bottle from the brewery and drunk at home. Hazy gold amber dirty with some sediment in the bottom with a lasting ivory head. Beautiful sherbet aroma. Yes that is properly nice. Love the cascade hops. Not too strong not too soft just pressing and insistent and there and bitter and grapefruit and delicious and that’s why The Kernel have produced the best pale ales in the UK over the past 5 years. Just so drinkable. The bottle disappeared so quickly. Just amazing.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines; clear amber pour with the carbonation almost suspended in time with a big bubbly off white head, aroma has excitable pine along with nourishing biscuit, taste has a bitterness on the tongue which is almost battery licking, there licks of other tropical fruits, impressive drop. --- Beer merged from original tick of Pale Ale Cascade (AU) on 11 Mar 2017 at 16:36 - Score: 8

Bottle from Cork & Cask. Hazy amber body with lots of yeast chunks floating beneath a medium off-white head. Aroma of tangerine and orange pith. Flavour of grapefruit and tonic water. Thin to medium body with a watery, slightly oily texture. Soft fizz. Ugly but tasty.

Bottle. Turner’s, Sheffield. Hazy gold. Kernel head. Nose has ripe citrus fruit. Some peach. Some notes of melon. Soft, bready malts in the background. Taste is clean, citrusy bitter. A little dry. Not unlike drinking grapefruit juice. Crisp, drying mouthfeel. Grapefruit bitterness on the finish. Excellent APA.
