7.2% On tap at The Three John's Islington. Dark brown colour lasting tan head. Well for a 7.2% beer it's a little empty I thought. Light brown malts. Soft in mouth. Some salty nuttiness towards the end. I expected more. Salty nutty finish is pleasant enough. OK.

Keg at the Three Johns, 21/03/18. Murky dark brown with a decent tan covering. Nose is chocolate biscuit, dark fruit shreds, nutty tones, earthy, toffee. Taste comprises earthy malts, light Belgian candy fruits, cocoa dusting, toffee, dates, light spice. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close. Bit of a damp squib ... passable for the style I guess but I expected more from this brewer and the ABV.
