Keg at the Beer Emporium - Bristol. Pours lightly hazy yellow with a creamy white head. Vibrant aroma, grapefruit, lemon, flowers. Light sweet flavour with mild acidity, more lemon. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Quenching finish, lightly drying, some floral notes, more tart lemon. Great fun.

Dan's Stag. Beer Emporium. Bristol. Keg. Light haze on this paleish gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light and slightly soft, modest fine carbonation. Big Parma Violets! Tangy grapefruit, little citric orange. Light mildly crisp finish brings more Parma Violets and a touch of Refreshers. Very good fun.

Keg at Beer Emporium. It pours light hazy bright gold with a medium white head. The aroma is fresh, fragrant, parma violets!!!, tangerine, orange sherbet, candied action and earth. The taste is crisp, dry, tart, loads of tangerine, kumquat, orange sherbet, straw, lemonade, good mouth - pucker and parma violet with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate, prickly carbonation. Great parma violet action.

Keg at the craft beer Co. Guy checked the keg ' Calypso Ella etc' a translucent golden straw coloured pour with a lasting white head. Aroma is soft wheat grains, doughy bread, tart citrus, lime, rubber hockey puck. Flavour is composed of of crisp tart lemon rind, pineapple, doughy grains wheat. Long wedge. Palate is si sweet and sour, earthy grains, highish carbonation. Little creamy grains, Lingering nice spicy lemon rind. Good.

Keg at the CP&K, 25/01/18. Light haze on a golden blonde pour topped with a decent off white cap. Nose is lemon rind, kiwi fruit tang, straw, balsa wood, light hop trace. Taste comprises citric tinged straw, lemon pissoi, on the turn melon, grains, light wood must, apple core, white grape tang, citric sherbets. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a modest puckering. Not the most vibrant of hops in a Calypso but a decent refresher none the less.
