Bottle from theatre of Wine, Greenwich. Hazy amber pour with a white head. Moss, pineapple, kiwi fruit and tangerine aroma. Heavy malt burst in the flavour, splash of fresh herb and citrus in there too. Leaves a sharp bitterness on the palate. Quite an easy drinking brew.

Bottle split at Bruces, thanks to LKS, 28/11/14. Hazed golden amber with a decent off white swirl and edgeing. Nose is coffee grinds - yet still retaining IPA qualities in terms of bitter citrics, mango, pine, orange pith, grapefruit and mineral notes. Taste comprises light soap, spice, mango, bitter citrics, pine linger, lighter coffee notes than on the aroma. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent enough coffee IPA.

Bottle consumed at Foxhills campsite, Weybourne, Norfolk, Wednesday 24th December 2014 Hazy amber on the pour with off-white head. Lots of coffee on nose with a little sweetness, the hoppiness and coffee a great marriage each keeping the other on a tight leash. Lovely, its great. A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov16 3.9

Bottle shared in London - picked up from BeerRitz. Pours deep gold with a frothy-creamy, off-white head. The nose has a bit of astringent coffee, some citrusy hops, slight creme caramel. Medium sweet flavor with light bitter coffee, orange, touches of citrus peel, lightly toasted grainy bread. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Lightly resinous on the finish, more citrus hops, light bitter rind and pine, pale bread, background coffee. Solid beer.

Bottle thanks to Leighton. It pours hazy brown with a medium beige head. The nose is piney, roasty, big coffee, earth, umami and light soy sauce action. The taste is bitter, toasty, coffee, piney, earth, dirt, brown sugar, caramel, wood, pepper, brown bread and faint citrus with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Not quite sure the balance is there. Interesting....

Bottle from Corks of North Street, Bristol. Deep brown with a slight, off-white, head. Grassy hop and coffee grind aroma. Sweetish, fruity flavour with some more coffee and a touch of hop in the finish. A rather strange mix of hop and coffee.

Hazy deep amber beer, tidy pale cream colour head. Palate is light and minerally crisp. Light malts, thin cream. Light earthy coffee. Mild citric hops. Crisp finish with a mild fruity linger. Nice beer but the coffee is always in the foreground. A little more hops - bingo!
