Keg at a The Rake. It pours cloudy pinkish orange with a decent white head. The nose is earthy, grainy, sweet berry, light spice and barnyard. The taste is crisp, tart, berry skin, mild acidity, grain, barnyard, sherbet and alka seltzers with a dry finish. Easy going Berliner action. Rather drinkable.

Keg at tap east. Clouded dull orange coloured pour with a pinkish hue. Lasting white froth. Aroma is sour dough bread, sharp avid, dull wheat. Some granny smith apple on the nose as well. Flavour is composed of initial slightly harsh acidity, some dull wheaty grains, grain tanin and a slight spicy thing going on. Palate is pretty light and refreshing with a firm lactic kick. Lingering stale grains. OK but not even close to some of the other London sours. I don’t detect much blueberry.

Tap East Collaboration Fest. Keg. Cloudy peach colour beer, residual white head. Palate is very crisp and pretty dry. That toasted hazelnut flavour you sometimes get with sours. Nice medium sourness and light tart blueberry. Light dry finish. Could do without the weird nuts but it’s not bad.

On tap at Tap East Stratford. Hazy pinky gold colour lasting white head. Some lactic some wood some blueberry. Quite fruity on the aroma quite woody in the flavour then quite sour on the finish. Interesting. Building sourness and dry finish. Bit too much lactose for me.

Keg at the Tap East Open Brewhouse event, 22/08/14. Hazy pinkish/crimson to orange hues with no head. Nose is tangy red berry, blueberry overtures, dank straw, wet towels, citric peel. Taste comprises tarte bluberries, straw, lemon rind, red berry pangs. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, crisp refreshing close. Decent enough ’Linner delivering a refreshing edge.

Keg at the Tap East Open Brewhouse Fest 2014 - London. Pours cloudy yellow-pink with a creamy cap. Heavy lacto aroma with notes of ripe blueberries and sweat. Light sweet flavor with popcorn, cereal, moderaye lacto funk, soft blueberry character, light acididty. Light bodied with fine, average carbonation. Lightly quenching to finish, some sweet cereal, tart blueberry, pleasant dryness. OK start but good finish.
