Initial flavours of orange and strawberries gives way to resin and pine notes and a unique lime cordial note. Clean malt backbone with some toffee flavours.

Cloudy copper colour. No head. Aroma has grassy, herbal, floral hops. Quite a thick, syrupy feel. Fruity hops but not too bitter. Nice bittersweet finish.

Bottle shared during the satellite Travlr 10K tasting at CBC Clerkenwell - London. Thanks to Paul for this one. Pours clear gold with a frothy white head. Simple pale cereal here, light hay, grains, lemon. Light bodied with average carbonation. Lightly sweet to finish with some bitter grain husk, leaves, basic pale bread. Eh.

Bottle thanks to Soapy, shared at the satellite 10K tasting CBC Clerko, 19/08/14. Lightly hazed golden with a moderate off white swirl and edgeing. Nose is juicy citric peel, bread dough, light orange pith, faint spice, bubblegum. Taste doesn’t match a decent nose and carries bitter astringent tones, grassy, earthy, lighter fruit presence, dull orange. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok, not really and ESB for me, kind of a tough one to classify!

The taste is bitter, woody, earth, pepper, resin, grapefruit, orange, lime peel and leather with a lingering dry, earthy finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Rather nice balance and good drinkability.
