Bottke from Beer Gonzo. It pours lightly hazy bright yellow - gold with a medium foamy white head. The aroma is fresh, juicy, bright, peach, papaya, melon, nectarine, orange sponge cake, cracker and bread. The taste is crisp, firmly dry, nice hit of bitterness, some greenness, grassy, piney, pithy, zingy, zesty, orange peel, tangerine, kumquat and some spice with a lingering bitter - dry finish. Medium body and fine, foamy carbonation. Classy stuff. Moreish and flavourful, with lovely balance.

Bottle at home picked up from the brewery. A mostly clear mid golden coloured pour with a lasting white froth. Aroma is lovely, layered hop, tangy underripe white grape, peach, mellow citrus, semi sweet bready malts rounds the nose out. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, bready base grains, mixed hops, mellow tropical, nectarine, tangerine, white grape, hint of straw. Very sessionable. Palate is semi sweet, mellow soft carbonation.

Bottle from the brewery in Bermondsey and drunk at home. Light haze orange gold colour lasting off white head. QA blend of flavours. Light biscuit. Some tropical fruit some citrus. Light bitterness. I thought decent but not top notch. Light nuttiness.it I proved as it went plenty of oranges

Bottle from Honest Brew (2018) and House Of Trembling Madness (2024). Hazy golden body with a white head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of passionfruit, papaya and minerals. Flavour of melon rind, orange and pineapple with a bitter finish. Medium body with a slick texture. Soft fizz. Crisp and delicious.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up at the brewery. Pours well clear honey gold with a frothy, pure white crown. Beautifully lean, with modest piney bitterness, crisp pale malts, citrus rind, a little pithy grapefruit. Light bodied with massaging carbonation. Moreish finish, with further soft piney notes, dried pale malts, some grassy bitterness, background citrus fruits. Master class.

Bottle. Beer Stop, Dronfield. Pale gold. Soft haze. Messy Kernel swede. Nose has seltzer. Chalky mineral. Lemon peel. Loads of Nelson grape character. Touch of fresh, spicy hop leaf. Super clean malts as a backdrop. Taste is similarly clean and mineraly, with just a trace of grain sweetness. Light and fresh on the palate. Foamy carbonation. Lingering, moderately bitter, clean, dry finish. Apropos to absolutely nothing, Kernel are definitely top 3 desert island brewers.

Light haze on this gold beer, tidy pale cream colour head. Smooth palate, slightly soft, reasonable fine carbonation. Softish malts, a light creamy sweetness. Smooth pine. Light but zippy citrus, sparkling mild lemon and a touch of grapefruit. Light touches of orange and tangerine. Light finish. Wasn’t expecting this flavour profile from this hop array, Mosaic anonymous again and no Zeus hop filth, but liking what has come through, liking it a lot.
