Wetherspoon Spring Beer Festival 2019. Cask @ Becketts Bank, Leeds. Clear copper-amber with a creamy head. It has a malty nose, and a mostly malty taste with some sweetness here too. Its floral influence is low.

Gravity cask at the 2019 CAMRA Rutland Beer Festival, Rutland County Museum. Brownish-reddish gold, clear with a very small layer of loose off-white head. Sweet aroma of Bakewell tart, candied orange peel, fruit punch, freshly mown grass. Bittersweet taste with a drying astringent finish. Kumquat peel and sweet spice in the aftertaste. It's a fairly simple beer done very well; the more I drink, the more I like it.

On cask at the Standing Order. Appearance - amber orange. Decent head. Nose - subtle caramel shortbread. Taste - richer caramel this time. Some orange. Burnt bread. Palate - creamy and close to medium bodied. The finish could be fresher. Overall - ok.
