Bottle. Clear amber body with a medium sized, lacing tan head. Mid aroma of malt and caramel. Flavor is sweet caramel malt with a little hint of acidic coffee and dry fruit. Medium body and aftertaste. Quite plain and straight forward bock. Drinkable but nothing special going on.

330ml bottle from Vinmonopolet, as ’Sagerne Sterk Jul’. Pours ruby, thin off-white head. Aroma brings caramel and cassonade. Taste is smooth with a malt-forward caramel bock character, with additional dried dark fruits and hints of cassonade. Good, sessionable.
