Can. Hazy golden orange body with a small off-white head. Fruity aroma with oranges, mild caramel malt and spicy yeast. Flavor is smooth malt, light toffee, citric fruit, hint of spices and decent bitterness. Medium body and average aftertaste. Tasty, pretty balanced and enjoyable.

355ml can, online from Brewdog. Pours light hazed orange with a small off-white head. Aroma: sweet potato, caramel, brown sugar, clove, ginger, nutmeg. The taste follows the aroma. Light to moderate sweet & bitter, light spicy finish. Thin to medium body with moderate carbonation.

Super crisp and clear amber and deep copper coloured body without any head at all - nice glow, but missing something up top. Aroma of squash, canella, nutmeg, grain and a heavy malty flavour that shows some 'dirty' earth and nuts, but the major smells all lie in the spices. Medium-bodied; Strong nutty and earthy flavours dominate up front with a lot of dry malts showing some grain, but mostly the squash and very pungent malt components with some peated malt and yeast noticeable with still a lot of spice elements from the canella and allspice and a dash of anise and coriander seed comes through near the end. Aftertaste is rather deep and pungent, but there are some nice and robust elements throughout with a bunch of sweetness, mostly caramelised sugars, but also some lighter notes from sweet potatoes do come through along with more spice. Overall, a relatively nice, very spiced and incredibly potato/squash-malt driven beer that shows a lot of flavours, most of them being strong, throughout with a solid complexity. I sampled this twelve ounce can, purchased from Liqour Outlet in Boonton, New Jersey on 22-September-2018 for US$1,99 sampled over a year later at home in Washington on 15-January-2020.

Can (which has embarrassingly sat in the basement fridge for a VERY long time. Maybe a year?) Pours a clean coppery orange with a small head and very malty aromas. Kind of a marzen/octoberfest thing going with a sticky and sweet nose. Flavor is more of the same and if you had blind tested me on this I probably would have guessed octoberfest as the genre. Go figure. It's sweet and sticky with a decent flavor. Tastes good and I'll have to pick it up again and try it fresh some time.

Can from BD Castlegate. It pours copper with an orangey hue and a medium off-white head. The aroma is rich, earthy, root veg, roast sweet potato, parsnip, warming spice, Autumnal vibes, and cinnabon. The taste is soft, bitter - sweet, earthy, root veg, sweet potato, pumpkin pie, stewed orange, warming spice, touch of cream soda and light toffee with some alcohol warmth on the back - end. Nice balance of sweet potato and spice. Warming. Works way better than I thought it might.

Sampled from a 12 oz can this beer poured a dark amber color with a small foamy white head that left a bit of lacing. The aroma was sweet and malty with yam, cinnamon and caramel notes. The flavor was sweet with yam, cinnamon, sugar, nutmeg, bread and caramel. Long finish. Moderately full bodied. Well done.

Sample at Platform for the CBW Collaboration Kickoff on 10/09/2015. Clear pale orange color with a thin white head that recedes quickly to a sparse outer ring. Spotty lacing. Aroma of pumpkin spices and malt. Light to medium body with flavors of pumpkin pie and sweet potato spices and malt. The finish is sweet with a clove and malt aftertaste. Decent overall.
