500ml bottle bought as part of a delivery from the brewery and drunk at home. Very dark gold, not quite clear with a small and quickly dissipating off-white head. Low aroma, a little bit of caramel, pine and tangerine. Heavy malt presence in the taste, bittersweet then too bitter, a little metallic. Some pink grapefruit in the finish. There’s a lot here but it’s not quite pulling in one direction. Medium body, low to medium carbonation. Not bad but needs more subtlety.

Bottle ordered from the brewery. Aroma has floral perfumed resin. Opaque amber. Frothy bubbly white head. Heavy bitterness. A dollop of resin. Licking a Sonora Pine. There's so.e underlying sweetness... I reach for it but cannot quite make contact. A wee slippery caramel bastard. Medium bodied. Slick. Soft carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. A few beers in from this order and a beer from Gyle 59 that isn't a damp squib. Enjoyable resinous IPA.

Thin off white head left a cover on an unclear pale amber coloured body. Minimal stone fruit aroma. Medium bodied, soft over the tongue with a dry back. Herbal, bitter, pine & peach tastes with a pithy finish. All rather muted.

28/8/2021. Cask at the 2021 East Anglian Beer Festival, Bury St Edmunds. Pours cloudy dark orange amber with a very small bubbly off-white head. Aroma is earthy, fruity, hedgerow, yeast, malt, touch of pine. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Bitter, and slightly cheesy finish. Not bad.

500ml bottle from Rise bakery, Bridport. Pours a deep golden amber, lightly misty, frothy white head. Expected a pinier fruitier affair, but this feels a little empty, with a moderate malty profile and robust bitterness. OK light sipper.

Wakefield Beer Festival 2017. Cloudy dark amber with a fair strength behind its stewed fruits evident in its taste. It has a more regular nose.

Cask, 7.3 % abv, half-pint, shared with Finn attending Beeriodical at Seven Stars. Cloudy apricot coloured body. Spotty lacing, bubbly ring at the surface. Dried fruity nose, hints of alcohol. Orange, plums, herbal hops and dough to the taste profile. Malt-fruity end with noticeable alcohol. Well bodied. Okay, a bit heavy to drink. (Bristol 01.05.2017).

(Cask at Southampton Arms, Gospel Oak, London, 24 Nov 2016) Golden amber colour with frothy, white head. Fruity, malty nose with tropical fruit, citrus and grass. Malty, fruity taste with notes of citrus, grapefruit, tropical fruit, sweetish malt and a generous citric bitterness in the finish. More than medium body, with a certain sweetness. Tasty, with a generous hop character. Nice one.
