From tap at Rizmajer Downtown, Budapest, 17.09.25. Dark golden amber. Persistent white head and lacing. An IPA with solid malt presence. Also tawny marmalade and papaya. Old school, as Marko writes in his review below. Moderate aroma, but otherwise well-balanced and very good!

Tap at their Móricz taproom. Lightly hazy deep amber body, thick off-white head. Caramelly, buttery aroma, some dried fruit. Lean smooth oooooold school caramelly, bit fruity taste, orange peel, very ČIPA-ish, no bitterness but finishes dry and vaguely spicy. Very 2012, too 2012.

0.5 l bottle. Deep, hazy amber color, white head. Hops, sweetness, coconut scents, resin in aroma. Bitter taste with sweetish aftertaste and with a medium finish. Easily drinkable, light to medium body. 7-4-6-2-10 UPDATE: On tap it's way more fresh and intense, or maybe it was a fresh batch. Anyhow, much better. 7-4-6-4-11

Draught at Rizmajer Sörház, Budapest. Almost clear, amber colored. AROMA- spicy, mix of fruit, pale plums, tropical fruit. FLAVOR- slightly sweet, bitter, pale plums, tropical fruit, citrusy, spicy, floral. Medium bodied. Good.

Bottle. Amber/copper color, with a big thick head, staying. Aroma is malty, some grassy/resin hops. Taste is mostly malty, caramel, start sweet but then there is bitterness, not too much but nicely balanced for me. Some more body would make it really nice. It's not really fruity, so not the usual IPA, but I liked it. Cortez I didn't really enjoy, but the extra strength and especially some hops did a good job (if they really used the Cortez, I have some doubts).
