Cask-conditioned at No.1 Harbourside, Bristol 1/8/2018. Pale gold in colour, with slight, white, head. Tangerine and pineapple fruits, a whiff of opine, rich tea malts, a hint of green herb and dry finish. A good pale ale.

Cask handpull at The Firkin Alehouse Folkestone. Clear gold colour lasting white head. Some hop some syrup. Hoppy enough. Some odd malt. Bit floral. OK.

Tap at Three Tuns. It pours clear oily gold with a small white head. The aroma is sweet, oily, sticky, stone fruits, brioche, fruit pie, grass and wet straw. The taste is crisp, dry, bitter, oily, chewy, stone fruits, toasty grain, straw and soap with a drying finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Oily action. Not bad at all.

Dan's Stag. Three Tuns. Cask. Clear gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light, mildly dry and has decent fine carbonation. Smooth light malts, sweetish. Good hops, smooth pine. Nice light tropical fruits. Mild spice. Little opal fruits. Light finish. Best cask beer all day.

Cask at the Three Tuns - Bristol. Pours clear gold with a frothy, white topping. The nose has some citrus, nips of pine, pale bread. Light-medium sweet flavour with subtle piney bitterness, ripening citrus fruits, pale bread. Light bodied, oily, with fine carbonation. Soft resin on the close, more pale bread, orange and tangerine, light rindy bitterness. Good one.
