Bottle from Beer Central, Sheffield. Clear, copper colour. Film of white head. Light, ginger spice. Hint of bloomy orange. Taste is spicy dry. Orange pith bitter. All with a Highland Toffee sweetness running through. Chew on the palate. Spicy dry, bitter finish. Nice enough, but lacking oomph.

Bottle [from trade with minutemat] @ home. Slightly hazy dark orange to rusty reddish color, medium sized off-white head. Aroma is malts, a bit sweaty, some hops, lightly resin. Taste malts, hops, lightly resin, moderately bitter, but unfortunately also in the flavor something lightly sweaty or at least unfresh comes through. Decent beer for sure but not a real good DIPA.

Almost clear gold - amber beer, small white head. Palate is smooth with fine carbonation. Smooth light malt. Hops are a pleasant resinous tangerine - pine, not sharp at all. Whisper of hop spice. Finishes smooth. A tasty and easy going IPA.

Bottle at home, from Hippo Beers, 07/06/14. Clear golden amber with a well appointed off white covering. Nose is caramel malt, bitter grapefruit, sticky pine, light cheese. Taste comprises bitter grapefruit, boozey tones, caramel malt, bitter orange, light spice. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, hop bitterness and booze in a slightly sticky close. So so for style, a shade better than the Cosmati but not by much, a bit to sweet and boozey, no real citricina shining through all of this - 1D!

Bottle from Cornelius. Hazy amber body with a thick off-white head. Steady carbonation. Nice lacing. Aroma of lemon, sponge cake and orange. Flavour of green hops, grapefruit and a slightly minty finish. Very bitter. Medium body with a very oily texture. Fizzy carbonation. Mouth-puckeringly bitter, which I like.
